Cloudera Named Leader in The Forrester Wave: Notebook-Based Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning, Q3 2020

Cloudera has been named a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Notebook-Based Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning, Q3 2020. At Cloudera, we are committed to always staying at the forefront of data and analytics innovation — enabling enterprises to more optimally work with data to deliver analytic results across the business quickly and securely. For enterprise machine learning teams, this means having the right platform, tools, and processes that streamline end-to-end ML to tackle once-impossible business challenges effectively and at scale. We are honored to receive recognition as a leader from Forrester for Cloudera Machine Learning (CML) — our enterprise machine learning experience for Cloudera Data Platform (CDP).

“Cloudera Is A Machine Learning – Machine”

Over the past years, we at Cloudera have evolved Cloudera Machine Learning to pointedly solve many of the data lifecycle challenges associated with successfully adopting machine learning to power enterprise AI initiatives. From enabling secure and governed workflows in containerized workspaces from CDP to enabling data scientists to work with their preferred tools across collaborative project spaces and deploy models quickly, CML is designed to eliminate silos and speed time to results without creating security gaps or slowdowns between teams. Most recently, we released new features for production machine learning workflows including a versatile model monitoring service for calculating drift, tracking predictions, and ground-truthing to production environments; and Cloudera Shared Data Experience (SDX) for models — which powers fully transparent lineage tracking and model cataloging.

In addition to these innovations, our deep, fundamental grounding in data management best practices has, in our opinion, led to recognition from the Forrester team — “These world-class, integrated data management capabilities provide data scientists using Cloudera Machine Learning with all the horsepower and governance they need to build and deploy models using open source”. This means that both IT teams and data science teams can seamlessly work together to accelerate time to value for machine learning workflows — no more data silos, security issues, or cross-team slowdowns. For enterprise organizations looking to maximize their return on AI investment securely, Forrester states it best: “Enterprises who want a fully integrated data platform and open source machine learning that runs on-premise, public cloud, and/or private cloud will find Cloudera Data Platform together with Cloudera Machine Learning compelling”.
