The role of a CDAO will naturally evolve with their company’s data maturity, and our research shows that this evolution is well underway in organisations across the Middle East and Africa.
To determine the current state of data analytics in the Middle East and Africa, we conducted a representative survey of 87 senior data analytics leaders from across the region to create our 2020 State of Data & Analytics MEA report. Our results show that full 46% of data leaders say their companies are in this transitionary phase, with 42.5% reporting that their data teams are focused primarily on offensive initiatives.
