CCIA는 EU 집행위원회가 AI 법안의 시행 시한을 지키지 못할 우려가 있다고 언급했다. 법안을 성급하게 도입할 경우 유럽의 AI 전략 전반에 심각한 차질을 줄 수 있다는 지적이다. 특히 EU 집행위원회가 AI 도입을 통해 2030년까지 약 3조 4,000억 유로의 경제적 가치를 창출할 것으로 전망한 상황에서, 성급한 법 시행이 EU의 AI 성장 전략에 타격을 줄 수 있다고 말했다.

IBM 기업가치연구소(IBV)가 최근 발표한 ‘사이버시큐리티 2028(Cybersecurity 2028)’ 보고서를 통해 AI 기술이 사이버보안 운영의 중심으로 자리잡고 있으며, 향후 3년이 기업의 보안 전략을 가르는 시기가 될 것이라고 분석했다. 이번 보고서는 전 세계 17개국 보안 및 기술 임원 1,000여 명을 대상으로 한 심층 조사를 바탕으로 AI 중심 보안 운영 모델의 필요성과 그 실현 방안을 제시한다. 보고서에 따르면, AI 기반 보안 기술 채택이 빠르게 확대하고 있다. 향후 3년간 AI 보조 기술은 50% 증가할 것으로 전망되며, 생성형 AI 기반 보안 기능의 활용은 63%까지 확대될 것으로 보인다. 조사에 참여한 임원 중 약 64%는 향후 2년 내 자사 IT 및 정보보호 조직 내 모든 직원이 AI 에이전트를 일상 업무에 활용하게 될 것이라고 응답해 AI 도입의 가속화 흐름을 뒷받침하고 있다.
