I recall a “Data Drinkup Group” gathering at a pub in Palo Alto, circa 2012, where I overheard Pete Skomoroch talking with other data scientists about Kahneman’s work. Moving beyond introductions, i.e., the more descriptive and anecdotal aspects, Kahneman explored tools we can use to overcome the effects of cognitive bias.
