Goals: Goals are specific strategies you'll leverage to accomplish your business objectives. The beauty of goals is that they reflect specific strategies. Metrics almost always appear in columns in a report / excel spreadsheet. I might use other metrics in my reports, say Visits or # of Videos Watched or whatever.
